RICE-raffia storage baskets and storage houses are some of the very first products created at RICE - and we are still huge fans.

All raffia products are handmade and made from et amazing natural material - therefore, no two baskets are ever exactly alike, and it is important to know this before purchasing. Raffia fibers come from palm leaves and originate from Madagascar – where the whole story of RICE began.

The products are made with heart – they are produced in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar, where the production contributes to better and more resources for the villagers.
